It was NBC's Cal Parry who summed up the obscenity of Donald Trump's ignorant and igniting decision to move the US Embassy to West Jerusalem
As all becomes ever more rapidly surreal it seems that, barring a miracle, Draft Dodger in Chief, Donald Trump might trigger a world war, over an incident in Syria which is entirely evidence free.
"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or in the holy name of liberty or democracy?" (Mahatma Gandi, 1869-1948)
"One day while I was in a bunker in Vietnam, a sniper round went over my head. The person who fired that weapon was not a terrorist, a rebel, an extremist, or a so-called insurgent. The Vietnamese individual who tried to kill me was a citizen of Vietnam, who did not want me in his country. This truth escapes millions." (Mike Hastie, Former U.S. Army Medic, Vietnam 1970-71)
Urgent warnings of a radiation leak have been issued after the collapse of a tunnel under North Korea's 7,200 foot high Mount Mantap
If anyone is still wondering why North Korea was being "provocative" in missile tests and repeatedly declaring what would seem to be a daunting arsenal (although there is still no irrefutable, concrete proof of deliverable, long range nuclear weapons capability) here is just a small taste of what it's southern neighbor, in cahoots with Godfather America, has planned
"Throughout the world, on any given day, a man, woman or child is likely to be displaced, tortured, killed or 'disappeared' ' More often than not, the United States shares the blame." (Amnesty International, 1996)
Currently, in addition to the massive war games, the US has been overflying North Korea with B-52 bombers, with further excercises taking place in and with South Korea and in the last days also with Japan
It seems politics has hit a shameful, stinking, festering, inhuman low. Given the lows of the last decades, that is really saying something.
